Nonprofits Unite: Fundraising for Recovery After the Eaton Fire

8/18/2025

Clockshop, an engaged arts and culture nonprofit based in Los Angeles, teamed up with the Altadena Library Foundation and LA County Library Foundation's LA Wildfires Connected Wellness Campaign to support Altadena after the Eaton Fire—and the results were remarkable.

In community spirit, Clockshop hosted a benefit for the Altadena Public Libraries, joining forces with Octavia’s Bookshelf (an independent bookstore in Pasadena that highlights BIPOC authors) and Little Flower Cafe, a cozy neighborhood spot known for its homemade sweets and charm.

The event was a beautiful example of what can happen when nonprofits lift each other up—raising an incredible $10,000 for the Altadena Library Foundation! It’s a powerful reminder of the strength in collaboration, and how grassroots organizing can truly create meaningful impact.
