A Legacy of Generosity

Planned giving, or gift planning, is a special way to ensure your legacy of generosity lives on in Altadena. Planned gifts pass to charity through your estate after your death.
BEQUESTS
Through language in your will or trust, you can specify that a gift be made to the Altadena Library Foundation as part of your estate plan in a specific dollar amount, asset, percentage, or balance of your estate.
NAMED BENEFICIARY OF ASSETS​
You can name the Altadena Library Foundation as a full or partial beneficiary of assets, like  life insurance policy or retirement plan (IRA, 401K, 403B, etc.).
